    Hi Gust,
    Nice to notice this page
I too migrated my knols here
    Best regards
    Phil

      Hi Phil,

Good to see that You migrated knols. BUT, make sure that they are still available to see on Knol, as You migrated a lot of my own knols where I am the OWNER of it and You ONLY co-author, take care about that please!

Update: I just found out that those knols where I am the OWNER are not anymore visible on Knol 😦 So You migrated my knols and they are now your owns as I don’t have anymore the possibility now to migrate them myself!? Explain, please and make possible that I get my right back again, thanks to do so…

Thus meaning: You will get ALL the trafic now to your WordPress-Annotum Blog, and I get nothing… 😦 This isn’t funny at all Phil, sorry… I din’t make yet the migration as mentioned in a comment from You on my Annotum-Blog and I wanted to wait still after beginning of next year to make the migration… Try to sort out this please, so that the knols where I am the OWNER would be visible again on Knol and then I as OWNER of these knols take the decision when I want to migrate them and not a co-author who takes the decision on its own for my knols…

Update on December 15, 2011: You made me work very hard to find a solution, but I found one 🙂 😉

I will provide soon some 5 minute tutorials (as usual…) who will explain the best way for the migration, stay tuned for next posts here 😉

Update on December 15, 2011: Here is the first tutorial https://knolannotummigration.wordpress.com/2011/12/15/did-you-know-migration-of-your-knolsco-authors-of-knols/.

Have a nice day and best regards,
      Gust

Big mistake on Google’s part to allow non-owner to migrate a Knol. It literally abets unintended theft.

      Hi,

I agree with You… Google Knol provides a migration solution, but it’s like usual from Google, half baked stuff where the responsibilities are on the shoulders of their customers and not on them as it should be 😦

I had very hard work since two days now to find a solution and I found one, stay tuned as I will post soon some more 5 minute tutorials on How-To do the best migration as possible 😉 with less problems as necessary…

Have a nice day and best regards,
      Gust

Congratulations dear Gust, I tried to do the same with my Knols, but I couldn’t — You are always great

    Best regards,
    Moharram

      Hi Moharram,

Thanks a lot… Tip: don’t edit HTML in the “Annotum-Editor”, but prepare your HTML in a standalone HTML-Editor on your computer and/or try your HTML in the online HTML-Editor from W3SCHOOLS which actually is the BEST solution as You have all the necessary HTML tutorials on place.

      Here is the link: http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_tables

You will see two screens… On the left screen You may edit the code and play around with it and by clicking the button “Edit and Click Me” You will see on the right hand side the result…

When everything looks fine, then copy the code on left hand side and paste it into the open “HTML-Editor” in Annotum and save it… I highly suggest this method as it is working best as far as I found out…

      Hope this is helpful…

Have a nice day and best regards,
      Gust

    Hi Gust,
I just missed this comment, happy that i found now,
Now what should i do Gust, to get back to your knol ownership.
Please suggest some solution, I have posted a pvt mail to you in this regard. One thing to note here is that all my migrated knols are still in tact at the knol pages as it is and i am able to add edit etc, how this is happening and yours missing? I wonder on this, pl. suggest some remedy so that i can revert back or i do according to your suggestions, or shall i delete this now from my pages at wordpress? Also to make note that other knols where i am only a co-author also got migrated at wordpress and i have not yet received any complaint from them about their missing knols. Gust, I am really sorry for this unintended happenings, were i am not at fault, as 911 said, its the fault of Google’ they must do something about it.
    Keep in touch
    Best regards
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for your good cooperation to let me be an “administrator” on your WP-Annotum account; thus meaning:

    – I was able now to work on the old knol “For a Better World” http://gustmees.wordpress.com/2011/12/29/for-a-better-world-test/ and made it working on my WP-Annotum account, I could redirect it on Knol to my WP account and it is now as it should be 😉

    – In the next weeks I will work hard on it to get some other knols also correct so that they will show up on its OWNER’s WP-Annotum accounts, stay tuned… Coming soon…

    @Moharram KHALIFA

As both we are co-owners on certain knols, so I will do the same with You as I did with Phil and we will get our knols on our own WP accounts, give me a bit time please… I had to try it with one knol to make sure that it will work; and it’s working… I will get in touch with You soon, dear friend 😉 I already sent You an private email about it…

===> There are NO problems, ONLY solutions! Together we find the appropriate solution(s)… 😉 <===

Have a nice day and best regards,
    Gust
